Missions

Putting faith into action with time, talents and resources has a long history at North Church. You will find there are many ways and invitations to participate in the outreach missions of our faith community.

Our Christian Service and Social Action (CSSA) Committee allocates pledged dollars in support of a myriad of important local, state, national and international programs, through both our own directed gifts and the work of our denomination, the United Church of Christ.

Locally, we support the Dwelling Place by cooking a meal the first Monday of every month to those less fortunate in the City of Woburn.

Every month, the Church provides a much needed item or two to help stock the shelves at the Woburn Council of Social Concern. Our grocery basket is overfilled by the end of the month. For Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Church donates complete dinners for needy families in the City.

At Christmas time, we "decorate" a tree with hats, mittens and scarves to help keep infants, children and adults warm.
